Daily Inner Thoughts of a Teenage Lifeguard.

As I fufill my monotonous tasks sitting upon an elevated chair completing my job requirements, many thoughts enter into my mind pertaining to those whom have lives I am responsible for saving.  For instance, I have come to realize that some old people are nice. But most old people are very not nice. Also, old men should not be allowed to wear speedos, and children under the age of 6 should not be competent enough to verbally intimidate their superiors.
Perhaps the greatest part of my job is the funny conversations between children I accidentally overhear while I am eavesdropping. For instance, "This one time I ran over a dead pigeon on my bike!"  Someday I would like to make a kid history episode with all these fantastic quotes.  But I suppose I will leave that to the professionals.
I would say that it is very worth minimum wage.
